The Brewers are the clear favorite among MLB.com’s experts to win the World Series, receiving 43 of 51 votes, or 84.3%. Eight voters picked the Rays. Either outcome would give the winning franchise its first championship. Milwaukee enters after a franchise-record 103-win regular season and a four-game sweep of the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. Its supporters highlighted an offense capable of manufacturing runs and delivering timely power, backed by a bullpen with a 1.33 ERA through eight postseason games. Aaron Ashby’s relief work and Jacob Misiorowski’s potential to deliver a dominant start also strengthened the case. Those backing Tampa Bay pointed to its starting pitching, including Drew Rasmussen and Freddy Peralta. They also see encouragement in the late-ALCS improvement of a lineup featuring Yandy Díaz, Junior Caminero and Jonathan Aranda. The Rays’ aggressive running game offers another way to create scoring opportunities. A Brewers championship in six games was the most popular prediction, drawing 23 votes. Despite Milwaukee’s substantial advantage in the overall voting, 44 of the 51 participants expect the series to last at least six games. Jackson Chourio led the World Series MVP predictions with 16 votes, followed by William Contreras with 13 and Misiorowski with six. These selections reflect the panel’s expectations rather than an established outcome. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, October 23, at 8 p.m. ET, or Saturday, October 24, at 9 a.m. in Japan.
